Our Grandfather Fire

One of the most deeply-rooted traditions in the wixárica world, an indigenous community of great cultural wealth in Mexico, is respect for tatewari, the grandfather fire who purifies, cleans and burns what is impure within the human being. Tatewari taught the use of fire to cook food for the soul.

Seasonal fruit with yogurt and homemade granola.

Pachamama sandwich
Whole wheat bread made in house with grilled chicken, xcatik mayonnaise, spinach, sprouts, lettuce and avocado. Served with Green salad.
The Real One Anita
Omelette with peppers, zucchini, bacon, on arugula salad, cherry tomato, fresh cheese, avocado and balsamic reduction.
Huevo pochado, tomate y aceite de guajillo
Homemade bread with avocado mousse, poached egg, tomato and guajillo oil.

Eggs

Ranchero eggs
On homemade corn tortilla, beans, avocado, pork sausage and coriander.
Motuleño eggs
Served with ham in tomato sauce, peas and fried banana.
Eggs any style- Omelette, scrambled or fried. Choice of any 3 ingredients:
Bacon, spicy sausage, onion, tomato, jalapeño pepper, manchego cheese, Oaxaca cheese, spinach, chaya and ham.
Tortillas filled with chicken And topped with creamy green tomato sauce, cheese and onion.
Quesadillas (2 pzs)
Handmade corn tortilla filled with Oaxaca cheese, and your choice of arrachera or chicken or cochinita pibil.
Chilaquiles de la abuela
Fried tortilla chips smothered in special sauce with nopal salad and smoked pork sausage, avocado, grated manchego cheese and onion. Served with homemade bread.
Chilaquiles Delek
Fried tortilla chips smothered in pasilla chili sauce and manchego cheese, 1 fried egg, cream, red onion, coriander.
Guineo bread
Homemade braided bread battered in banana cream, served with homemade granola and orange.
Pancakes with berry infused butter.
Parfait
Served with yogurt, seasonal fruit, berries, toasted granola and jam of the day.
